A PDF of his testimony is available here.

March 24, 2011: Arizona Employers for Immigration Reform Board Member Nan Walden particpated in the national release of a new study that demonstrates the economic impacts local immigration bills have had on the Arizona economy and business community. The report titled "A Rising Tide or a Shrinking Pie" was jointly published by the Center for American Progress and the Immigration Policy Council.

Nan Walden

"This report confirms what many of us in the business community already know, which is legislation that scapegoats immigrants is bad for business in addition to just being wrong. Nearly one year after passage of SB1070, we see Arizona has lost population, business and business investment. What we have gained are increased residential and commercial vacancy rates, increased social and political division, and a destablized political and business climate."

New Opportunities

PV Solar Project Financing - SWPA represents investors who are financing school, government, commercial and tribal photovoltaic (PV) solar energy projects throughout the U.S. These projects can include rooftop, ground-mount, carport, fixed or single-axis tracking systems of 100kW or greater. Funding can take the form of a Power Purchase Agreement or solar lease.

Understanding that many deals fall through because of insufficient financing, unrealistic pricing, or design problems, our clients are willing to consider projects that are in need of rescue given the ability to solve the other underlying issues. The review of each project is taken on a case-by-case basis and there is no guarantee that any one project can or will receive financing offers.
